"VERSUS" AT HOTEL SP34

𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗨𝗦:

is a visual dialogue between artists from GANG galleri, whose art differs in various personal styles. There will be 6 duo  VERSUS exhibitions at Hotel SP34 where all artists will work to clarify the field of tension between the two art forms and seek to challenge the resistance and attraction between the works. There will also be 1 group exhibition in the time of the Pride, august 2022.

 

CURATOR AT THE 7 VERSUS EXHIBITIONS TOGETHER WITH LOUISE SIMONY AT SP34

AND ARTIST FEATURED AT VERSUS #1:

LOUISE SIMONY paints people, especially faces. She is fascinated with how the lived life together with experiences, and emotions are expressed. Louise is inspired by original folklore, ancient photos, and history. She paints with oil, spray, acrylic, watercolor, and pencil on canvas and paper.

 

HEIDI STIBÆK KAISER works coloristically in her non-figurative paintings, which are created intuitively based on both instinct and experience. The freedom and experiment is evident in the process of building up color, gesture, and composition on the canvas. The works invite a direct dialogue with the observer, devoid of political or predetermined philosophical theme.
